Chad McCoy graduated 4th in his class at the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1995. Upon graduating, Chad worked for the likes of Stites & Harbison, as well as for Parr, Waddoups, Brown, Gee & Loveless (now Parr Brown). Not satisfied representing big corporations, Chad and some law school classmates formed McCoy & Sparks, PLLC. After working together for almost twenty years, Chad & Sheila joined forces to create the dream team at McCoy & Hiestand, PLC.
Chad is a proud geek – he is a licensed pilot and at one time he could program in five computer languages. He is a life-long learner and teaches classes at St. Catharine College in Springfield every other semester. Chad is married to Dr. Holly McCoy and they are the proud parents of twin boys, Hunter and Woody. Their family is very involved in their Catholic faith, with ties to St. Joseph Parrish in Bardstown, Holy Rosary and Holy Trinity. His sons have attended St. Joe Elementary and now attend Bethlehem, where Chad coaches the robotics team.
Chad lives on the family farm in Bardstown, next to his parents, with Holly, his two boys, their dog, 5 horses and a 3 acre vineyard.
